As the acting Editor of AdoptionBlogs, I just wanted to make it clear to readers who may be interested in writing for us that we are indeed hiring.

When an application is received, I try to review it as soon as possible. Once I review it, I will either thank the writer and possibly give them pointers for resubmitting an application, hire them or (if I don’t currently have an opening for them) ask them to be on a Reserve List.

The Reserve List is a list of writers that I feel are worth hiring and would like to hire as soon as I have an opening in their specific topic. Each topic we have has a Reserve List, so if an applicant is qualified to write on three of our topics, I’ll place them on all three Reserve Lists and hire them for the first of those three topics that comes available.

There have been delays previously in that we are currently revamping our compensation plan and Blogger Contract but it is never too early to apply to blog with us.

We will be hiring a very large group of bloggers very soon!

Please follow the application procedures as outlined in the Editor’s Blog and send your application to Lisa@Sharespace.com.

You have so many great blogs. I was wondering if you had ever considered starting one for single-parent adoption?

Do you have plans for an India Adoption blog?

  6. No, I don’t have plans for one but, if I thought we had a large enough group of readers and a good writer to support it, I would.

I don’t see a blog for domestic infant adoption…am I missing something?! Maybe it’s time for me to put a resume together….

    What do you pay?

  11. We will be paying $4 per blog during your initial training/probationary period of 90 days and then, if asked to continue with us, you would receive $5 per blog as base pay. Bonuses would be paid on top of that.
